PACKING AND MAINTENANCE MANAGEMENT ASSOCIATE

This management level position includes packing line operation and management as well as maintenance, adaptation and fabrication of both packing and orchard equipment. This is an excellent position for a hard working candidate enthused about a production/manufacturing environment and equipment that ranges from the simple and mechanical to robotic and cutting edge. A keen attention to food safety will be imperative.

FARM MECHANIC

Keep our farm running smoothly! Repair, maintain, and improve our fleet of trucks, tractors, and forklifts, plus our farming and packing equipment. The ideal candidate will be able to work without direct supervision and communicate well with team members and management. Every day will offer a new challenge. Based at our shop in Walden, NY. Full time. Some nights and weekends required during peak times.

ORCHARD MANAGEMENT ASSOCIATE

This is a hands-on field manager position that features a mix of orchard scouting and trapping, hands-on field work, spray program development, and workforce management. This position can be tailored to the applicant’s expertise. Demonstrated experience and interest in farming required, fruit and vegetable experience preferred. Spanish language skills are ideal.

SHIPPING & RECEIVING MANAGER

The team will grow and pack the apples to perfection… and you get them out the door! Multitask and communicate with drivers, brokers, and staff to coordinate shipping and receiving. Meticulous record keeping is essential as is the ability to drive forklift, manage inventories, and stay organized. This position requires evening work, typically 10am-7pm, and Saturdays.
Option for overtime during harvest.
